    I’ve been the editor of Scholastic News for Grade 4 for more than a decade, and the job has never stopped being interesting. I love reporting the news for kids and finding engaging, accessible ways to help them make sense of the world. Over the years, I’ve interviewed everyone from Jane Goodall to local farmers to Olympic athletes—but some of my favorite conversations have been with kids who are making a real difference in their communities.

    I’m an art director who loves transforming ideas into bright, joyful visuals. With a degree in journalism and graphic design, I’m drawn to the magic that happens when storytelling meets design. I believe beautiful visuals can inspire learning and wonder—no matter your age. When I’m not designing magazine layouts, I’m probably sewing a new outfit, tending to my garden, or bribing my dog with treats.
