The Choices Team

Choices is supported by a talented team of copy editors, video producers, and photo editors. Meet our editorial and art directors below.

  • Maggie Mead

    Editor

    New York, NY

I have worked as an editor on Scholastic magazines for more than 10 years, much of that time on science and STEM magazines. As the editor of Choices, I’m thrilled to be shaping stories that help teens build life skills as they navigate the transition from adolescence to adulthood.

  • Marilu Lopez

    Art Director

    New York, NY

I began my career at Rolling Stone and have been Creative Director of several national publications. I’ve also been an adjunct professor at Parsons School of Design and have lectured at various universities, including NYU. I joined Choices as Art Director in 2015, where I focus on creating thoughtful visual and editorial engagement to educate and inspire.
